Plumas District Hospital is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Certified Healthcare District designation by the Association of California Healthcare Districts (ACHD). This prestigious recognition signifies the district’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of governance, accountability, and transparency.

The ACHD Certified Healthcare District Program promotes good governance for Healthcare Districts by establishing a core set of accountability and transparency standards. These standards, known as Best Practices in Governance, are rigorously evaluated, and districts demonstrating compliance are awarded the Certified Healthcare District designation for a period of three years.
